Mims preps I Am Hip Hop’s Savior for December release
We caught up with Mims earlier today, and decided to move away from the beef subject for a little while. Instead, we asked him about his plans for his third album, and when it was coming. This was his reply:
“You know, I’m in the studio, I’m focused. I do have a few singles, this one’s for the club. My last release was sort of a rip-off of my first project, so I’m going out of my element a little bit. I have collaborations with Saigon, Fabolous, Papoose, Lloyd, Timbaland, Keri Hilson, D.O.E., Jason Derulo, Ja Rule, Bad Seed, 50 Cent, Diddy, Fat Joe, and Ashley Joi. As far as production goes, I splurged, I have Blackout Movement, DJ Khaled, Sha Money XL, Diddy, Just Blaze, Irv Gotti, Timbaland, Dr. Dre, and Swizz Beatz. I want to have an album like no other, a classic album that is full of collaborations. I’m already 85% done with the project, so look for it in December.”
That brother Mims has stepped up in this game. His last album should have been called More Than a One-Hit Wonder.

MIMS is NOT Hip-Hop’s savior……him and Soulja Boy are the death of it. Thank God there are still true hip-hop artists in the game (i.e. Common, Little Brother, Atmosphere, Aespop Rock)
