Ja Rule Welcomes you to “Hollywood”

Ja Rule is back again, trying to regain what he once lost. He has long lost his position as the face of rap, but he has always had popular labelmates on his side.

This time around, he won’t even have that. Ashanti was dropped from Murder Inc. by Irv Gotti back in May and Lloyd is trying to get out of his contract with the label.

As much as Ja Rule has gone through, he has always had other hitmakers on his side, but, for his latest album, The Mirror: Reloaded, he is on his own.

With the first single from this new album, “Hollywood,” Ja Rule is trying to prove that none of the negative energy is getting to him. He is trying to prove that he can simply focus on the music.

The song has a unique sound and features Ja Rule using the auto-tune. His seventh album, The Mirror: Reloaded, is set to be released on September 11.
