Ne-Yo’s Fourth Album to be released in 2010

Ever since he released his debut album, In My Own Words, in 2006, Ne-Yo has released an album every year. Almost every year by this time, he has a new single out. This year, he does not. Most fans of Ne-Yo are probably wondering why. His reason is the fact that he has been busy working with other artists.

By the time he is done with all of these side projects, he would have no time to record and release an album this year. To avoid all of the mayhem, Ne-Yo has decided to wait and begin recording his fourth studio album in 2010. There has been no set title or theme of the album. As a constant writer, to be sure, Ne-Yo has been writing and probably has written several songs that may end up being on this upcoming disc.

For the rest of this year, Ne-Yo will be working with Lil’ Kim, Rihanna, Kanye West, and Chris Brown. Aside from that, he will also be working on a new film, Red Tails, which will be released to theaters later this year.

A new album from Ne-Yo should be expected sometime in the summer or fall of 2010.
