Whitney Houston is back on Top

Every career goes through ups and downs. As of late, Whitney Houston has been going through downs. In 2002, she made a comeback into the game, but it was overshadowed because of her drug addiction.

Once upon a time, Whitney was known as one of the best voices in R&B, but she had become a joke within the black community. Her troubled relationship with Bobby Brown is what she was best-known for, along with her appearance on the Bravo reality series, “Being Bobby Brown.”

To the new generation, Whitney Houston was seen as an eccentric television figure, no longer known for her music. Instead, she became known for dating Ray J and starting a feud between him and Bobby Brown. Ironically, Brown had appeared in one of Ray J’s videos.

For the year of 2009, Houston has taken the time to get things back in check. She decided to stay away from the drama. Whitney has been divorced from Bobby Brown for nearly two years and they have both moved on. She decided to focus on the music once again.

In 2009, Whitney Houston released her first album in seven years. Along with the album, she has made appearances on Good Morning America, and “The Oprah Winfrey Show.” Aside from all of that, Whitney’s music is what she is best-known for again. It appears that for the moment, Whitney Houston is back on top.
