Larry Johnson may be Benched for Gay Slurs

Larry JohnsonLarry Johnson, of the Kansas City Chiefs, is in some deep trouble. As many already know, he posted some negative comments about homosexuals on Twitter and later in an interview with reporters.

Everyone knows that people have moments of blind anger. Johnson credits this to why he said what he said and he apologized. Still, that is not enough for the fans. He was suspended back on October 30, but they feel that is not enough.

Currently, the Chiefs are one of the worst teams in the NFL. The only thing that they have to root for is the stellar play of Larry Johnson, who is only 75 yards away from breaking the team’s rushing record. He is great on the field, but off of the field, he gets into trouble.

Because of that, he is not exactly a fan favorite. One would think that opposing fans are calling for a longer suspension of Johnson, but it is fans of the Chiefs that are demanding this. Back in 2007, he signed a five year deal worth $45 million with the Chiefs.

Despite the money and his play, the team has not experienced very much success. Because of this and the fact that he takes time to be such a bother has fans truly upset with him. It is a tough break, but he did apologize.
