“The Game” to appear on “The Mo’Nique Show” tonight

Perhaps, the black media got a little ahead of itself, when various outlets, including TBT: The Magazine announced that “The Game” was filming new episodes. Back in October, it was confirmed that BET had picked the series up. Then, the entire cast was seen boarding a plane, heading for Atlanta.

A lot of BET original series’ are filmed in Atlanta. Because of that, it is easy to predict “The Game” moving there, too. It would cost a lot less to produce a show in Atlanta as opposed to Los Angeles. That is why BET films in Atlanta. It is something they have done since the days of Bob Johnson.

While it is easy to predict “The Game” moving their filming, they need to officially secure a deal with BET first. An official deal is close to being reached, but they are just not there yet. One thing that these outlets seemed to have forgotten is that BET’s original series, “The Mo’Nique Show,” is filmed in Atlanta and the show focuses on black entertainment.

Ever since “Girlfriends” met an untimely death in 2008, “The Game” has been at the center of black entertainment. It is only right that Mo’Nique invite the cast down to talk about the show. Among the things that she will touch on are the reasons behind The CW railroading the series, will they return, and where.

“The Game” is expected to begin airing their fourth season before the end of 2010.
